Jamileh Yousefi
Assistant Professor, Business Analytics
Dr. Jamileh Yousefi is an Assistant Professor in the Shannon School of Business at the Cape Breton University and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University. Dr. Yousefi's research involves artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in decision exploration systems. She is interested in the explanatory power of AI. In particular, she is interested in designing interpretable machine learning methods for healthcare systems.
Jamileh received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Guelph (2018). Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Yousefi earned an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Concordia University in Montreal and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Computation from Shahid Bahonar Kerman university in Iran.
